How long do IKEA kitchen cabinet installations take?
Most projects take 3 days but larger kitchens can take up to 4 days.
Who will install my appliances and fixtures?
We can take care of appliance and fixture installations, you can hire a contractor or you can do those yourself.
What about countertops?
We install IKEA countertops but if you would like a different type of countertop we are happy to refer you to an excellent countertop company.
Who assembles the cabinets?
We do! We take care of all aspects of the installation. When the installation is complete the cabinets are fully ready for countertop installation and use.
What if I want to change the layout of my kitchen?
No problem, it's common to move things around! Prior to cabinet installation some utilities such as electrical and plumbing may need to be modified but our experts can guide you through that.
What about my backsplash?
Existing backsplash can be replaced or kept as-is. If you would like a new backsplash we recommend removing the existing backsplash prior to installing your new cabinets, we can help with backsplash removal and new backsplash installation as well.
When should I paint my kitchen walls or change wall paper?
We recommend making any changes to walls after the existing cabinets and backsplash are removed?
What should I do if I want to change my flooring?
We recommend making any flooring changes after your existing cabinets are removed and before installing your new IKEA cabinets.
Do I need a permit from the city?
No, you do not need a permit to replace your cabinets?
What happens if cabinet parts are missing or damaged?
In most cases missing or damaged parts have little impact on the installation. We have been working with IKEA for many years and can help resolve issues quickly at no additional costs to you.
